

Hawai‘i’s COVID-19 deaths increased to 1,028, with one new death reported today. The confirmed cases included: 52 on O‘ahu (+19 probable) 11 on Hawai‘i Island (+3 probable) 11 on Maui (+4 probable) 18 on Kaua‘i and seven Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state. Of today’s 125 cases, there were 99 cases identified as confirmed, and +26 probable cases were added to the count. 25, and has been on a steady decline since the beginning of September, dropping to 9.6 per 100,000 today. Maui County’s seven day average of cases peaked at 57.6 per 100,000 on Aug. The latest data represents a total of 1,235 “active” cases statewide over two weeks.
